It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of J. Raine & Son.

After 42 years within our family, this decision was not one taken lightly, and wouldn’t have been taken if wasn’t necessary, but unfortunately, due to the constant increase in costs, lack of footfall and the constant change in the high street (i.e. retail parks, online shopping etc), the business is no longer sustainable.

A closing down sale will start with immediate effect (Thursday 1st August 2024), with discounts up to 50%! Grab yourself a bargain. Once it's gone, it's gone.

We will continue to be open as normal; a closure date will be announced in due course.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our staff, Helen, Linda & Julie who have been with us for 20+ years, we wish them all the very best for the future.
