HSE guidance updates in May made it clear that the dry cutting or polishing of engineered stone is unacceptable, whether on-site or in the factory. This means that water suppression techniques, and working wet, are now a legal requirement when working with quartz. But where do you start?

At Stonegate, we have always maintained that working wet is the most responsible control measure when fabricating all types of stone, not just engineered stone.
