⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING FOR ALL ORE & LDS EXAM EQUIPMENT BUYER — BEWARE OF SCAMS!
Hi everyone,
There are increasing concerns about scammake as involving ORE and LDS exam materials and equipment. As a responsible seller, DentalChrome.co.uk believes it is important to raise awareness and help students protect their hard-earned money.
Unfortunately, we are seeing cases involving:
* ⚠️ Fake replica Frasaco teeth being mixed with original products and sold as genuine.
* ⚠️ Incomplete kits with hundreds of pounds’ worth of essential items missing.
* ⚠️ Equipment that is faulty, damaged or not working as expected.
* ⚠️ Facebook posts and WhatsApp sellers advertising extremely cheap prices, including profiles that may appear professional or established.
We have spoken to students who have approached us after experiencing problems with their purchases. We strongly advise everyone to take the following precautions before buying.
✅ 1. If buying second-hand equipment, inspect everything in person. Check every item thoroughly, confirm that the equipment works, and verify that all advertised components are included before making payment. Never rely solely on Facebook posts, photographs or promises.
✅ 2. If buying from a professional seller, check their business details. Whenever possible, choose a registered UK limited company with verifiable business details and clear customer support.
✅ 3. Protect your payment. Ask whether you can pay by credit/debit card or through the company’s verified business payment account. Avoid sending money to personal accounts without properly verifying the seller and understanding your payment protection options. Your payment method can make a significant difference if something goes wrong.
✅ 4. Verify that Frasaco products are genuine. Do not assume that all teeth supplied with a Frasaco jaw are original. Ask the seller to confirm exactly what is included and whether the teeth are genuine original products.
✅ 5. Be cautious of prices that seem too good to be true. Saving a small amount upfront may cost you significantly more later if you receive replica teeth, incomplete kits or equipment that does not work.
