With Full Hearts, We Say Goodbye to Kev - Thank you for being a huge part of our journey.

Kev truly had a heart of gold and (let’s not forget) a great moustache! He made such a lasting impact at our Lincoln branch, not just through his work but through the way he treated everyone around him - with kindness, humour, and genuine care.

It’s been an absolute pleasure having him as part of the team, and he’ll be greatly missed by all who had the chance to work with him.

The knowledge he brought to roofing supplies was truly untouchable - built from years of experience! More than that, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and respected by all his colleagues, trusted by customers, and appreciated by everyone who had the chance to work alongside him.

☺️ Proud to be part of The Great Yorkshire Build, helping transform Hilltop School.

"Data released from the last academic year shows that around two in three special schools in England were operating at or above capacity. According to Government figures, this suggests that around 8,000 more secondary school pupils were enrolled in special schools than their reported capacity allowed. Since 2010 there has been no real investment in the special school estate nationally from successive Governments, meaning Trust and school leaders have faced overwhelming demand at a time when additional capital funding has been at a generational low.

​The urgent need for transformation at Hilltop – part of the Nexus Multi Academy Trust family of schools - was highlighted on the BBC’s ‘SEND Help’, where the School and Trust worked with the investigative team to highlight the cramped, cupboard-sized classrooms and temporary cabins being used to deliver essential care and education.

​But thanks to the hard work of you and our other supply chain partners, Hilltop’s pupils will have access to the well-designed, high-quality school facilities they have a right to.”
