On Saturday I attended the screening of the National Emergency briefing at St. Just Miners Chapel.

It was an interesting and eye opening watch followed by some great discussion and a few short talks/presentations from myself, on sustainable farming, St Just in Bloom and Emily Tarrant from a local business owner and networking group viewpoint (Far West Business Network)

It didn’t go unnoticed that I was very much the youngest in the room, which led to the conversation of, how do we get more young people involved ? Especially when it is young people that will be the most affected. I would very much encourage anyone considering it, to go along to the screening that is coming up in Pendeen. Thursday 18th June, 18:45 start.

Two things happening in St Just this week.

Firstly the screening of the National Emergency Briefing. St Just Miner's Chapel Saturday 13th 15:00-17:45. Short presentations and an open floor discussion to follow the screening.

Also the churchyard nature count happening on Sunday 14th between 13:00-15:00
