Can CCXยฎ be used where the water table is high?

Yes, but the water table has to be treated as a design condition, not ignored.

A screwed-only joint can provide a pressure relief path in some situations, while substrate drainage such as aggregate and perforated pipework may be needed to manage hydrostatic pressure.

Will vegetation grow through a CCX-Mยฎ lined canal?

At the Canal de Provence project, the operator reported no vegetation breaking through the lining during yearly inspections.

Surface algae and light growth may still need routine cleaning, but the GCCM acts as a root-resistant barrier against the vegetation that can otherwise damage or obstruct a canal.

There is a difference between growth on the surface and growth through the asset.

Not necessarily.

Where the existing structure can be prepared and supported, a GCCM lining can remediate the surface without taking up significant hydraulic capacity.

That means less demolition, a shorter intervention window and a faster return to service when irrigation deadlines are approaching.
