Carwyn has lost so much of his independence, but still holds a real passion for music

29/10/2026

Please help us support Carwyn ❤️

Carwyn and his family are raising money for the care, equipment and communication support he needs, and to help him keep enjoying the things he loves.

One of those loves is music, so let’s get together for Carwyn’s 90s Hip-Hop & R&B Fundraiser!

📍 The Lost ARC , Rhayader.
Sunday 15th November · From 5pm
£5 entry · All ages welcome

With DJ WIKID, guest live performances, woodfired pizzas, 90s sweets and a special Carwyn cocktail, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Dress to impress!

The evening supports Carwyn’s Fund and Powys Paediatric Palliative Care. Tickets are available on the door or at www.thelostarc.co.uk.

If you can’t join us, please consider donating to Carwyn’s GoFundMe:

A huge congratulations to all the incredible riders who raced through Rhayader and the Elan Valley in today’s The Tour Of Britain Women. 🚴‍♀️

It was a real privilege to see some of the world’s best cyclists racing through the roads we call home.

We hope you enjoyed our little corner of Wales as much as we enjoyed welcoming you. ❤️🏔️

Llongyfarchiadau to you all!

9 years in the making! ❤️

Finally got to meet the amazing Andrea von Kampen!

Andrea’s beautiful music has featured in all of our Christmas adverts over the years, so getting to see her perform live in Birmingham on Sunday — and finally meeting her in person — was a real full-circle moment.

Her music has become such a big part of the story of our little shop and those Christmas films, so this one meant a lot.

Andrea is still touring the UK, so if you get the chance, go and see her. You won’t be disappointed! 🎶

Towards the end of my set in Birmingham I saw someone in the audience who looked exactly like Tom from Hafod Hardware and was so thrilled to learn it was actually Tom!! After many years of collaboration and friendship we finally were able to meet in person and I did end the night with a rendition “Forever Young”. We might be dreaming up something special in Wales in the coming years…. We will see. 👀😊
