That’s why we’re proud to now have defibrillators installed across each of our depots, helping ensure our people, visitors, customers, contractors and wider communities have access to potentially life-saving equipment should it ever be needed.
It’s a simple addition… but an important one.
In the UK, more than 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur each year, and early CPR combined with rapid access to a defibrillator can significantly improve survival outcomes.
For us, this isn’t about compliance or ticking a box.
It’s about creating workplaces where health, wellbeing, preparedness and genuine care are embedded into the culture of our business.
It’s also a reminder that ESG isn’t always about big statements - often it’s the practical decisions, made quietly and consistently, that have the biggest human impact.
