😥 To all my loyal customers, I'm sad to say that the shop has now sold but unfortunately will not be continuing as a kitchen shop. I understand the new owners will be disposing of the remaining stock tomorrow, so there is still the opportunity to grab a final bargain. The stock and furniture was included in the sale of the property, on the understanding that the proceeds from any sales would be donated in their entirety to the new owners charity, so you will also be helping to support a worth cause.

Enjoyed my first day off with a visit to the Castle Howard food festival. Bought the most delicious chocolate brownies and the best steak pie and black pudding Paul has ever had in his entire life from "The Butcher and the Baker" This is a relatively new local business but the quality of their produce is second to non and they deserve support. The Butcher and the Baker attend most of the local food festivals and are also developing an online shop, which will involve local delivery. As well as delicious homemade cakes and pies, they also produce sausage rolls made using their own sausages, artisan pies and cure their own bacon. Please help support a local Selby business and have a look at their FB page.

THANK YOU to everyone who came into the shop today. People who know me, will be aware just how sad it is for me to leave but the kindness and generosity shown to me today, has made this day one I will remember for the rest of my life. Whilst I will no longer be running the shop, there is a small glimmer of hope that one of my lovely customers may take over and keep Whisk Etc going. I'm keeping everything crossed and will keep you updated if there are further developments. For now, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

ONE DAY TO GO 😥 Thank you to everyone who has loyally supported my little shop. Tomorrow is going to be hard and you may see a grown woman cry, but I hope that won't keep you away. CLOSING SATURDAY 29th JULY. I will be shutting my door for the final time on Saturday 29th. As many people know, this has been a hard decision for me and not taken lightly, however, for me it is the right thing to do. I have had an amazing time at the shop, met the most wonderful of people and enjoyed every minute of my time in Selby. There are still lots of lovely things in the shop and time to grab a bargain, get organised early for Christmas or just treat yourself. For now I would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my little shop and made me feel part of this fantastic community.
