Spalted Beach!

Whilst in Devon recently my family went to visit Hartland Abbey where they filmed Mallory Towers - a favourite of my daughter. I came across this piece of driftwood on the very rocky beach there. It looked like there was some spalting running through it so I thought I'd bring it back to Sheffield and see if I could us it for knife scales...

It's great to see then getting used and I'm always happy to add a bit more life to these tools.
