🏆 Congratulations to Baumit Deutschland on winning the Baumit Life Challenge 2026!

This year’s Baumit Life Challenge celebrated some of Europe’s most inspiring architectural transformations, and one project stood out above them all.

Once an industrial grain silo, Kelloggs Hotel has been reinvented as a striking design destination, earning the title of overall winner at the Baumit Life Challenge 2026. Chosen from hundreds of entries across Europe, the project is a brilliant example of how creative vision and exceptional façade design can breathe new life into existing buildings.

A huge congratulations to the team behind this outstanding project and to our colleagues at Baumit Germany on this well-deserved recognition.

The Baumit UK team enjoyed celebrating the Baumit Life Challenge 2026 in Budapest, Hungary last week alongside our partners and colleagues from across Europe.

We’d like to thank the partners who joined us for the event, including Chadwicks, Superior Render Supplies, EnviroRend SE Ltd and Stonepack Ltd. Alongside the event itself, we also enjoyed spending some time beforehand taking in the sights and atmosphere that Budapest has to offer.

A special mention goes to Barry Egan, who attended alongside Chadwicks Group to represent the Rooskey project, which was proudly shortlisted in the Thermal Renovation category.

The event brought together some of Europe’s most impressive architectural projects and celebrated innovation, creativity and collaboration across the industry. Congratulations to Baumit Deutschland, whose “Kellogg’s Hotel” project took home the main award at this year’s Baumit Life Challenge.

We’re already looking forward to the next Baumit Life Challenge event, which will take place in Germany in 2028!
