At Penkhull Hardware & Joinery Ltd., we carried out a full fence and gate installation on a clear plot, creating a brand-new boundary from scratch.

The work started with setting out the line and preparing the ground, followed by installing concrete posts at accurate intervals to ensure strength and long-term stability. Each post was levelled and secured properly before fitting the fence panels, resulting in a straight, clean, and uniform finish across the full run.

We also installed a timber gate, carefully aligned and fitted with durable hinges and fixings to ensure smooth operation and a secure close.

This installation not only defines the space but also provides privacy, security, and a neat, professional look to the property. Built from the ground up with precision and attention to detail.

This bespoke garden gate has been carefully handcrafted using high-quality, pressure-treated timber, built to deliver both durability and a clean, professional finish. The timber has been expertly coated in a rich, deep green exterior paint, enhancing the natural grain while providing long-lasting protection against the elements. The result is a solid, visually striking gate that complements the surrounding fencing and adds a refined touch to the outdoor space.

Structurally, the gate is reinforced with a traditional braced design to prevent warping and ensure rigidity over time. All fixings are neatly set out, giving it a precise and well-executed appearance.

The hinges have been intentionally installed on the front face of the gate. This is a practical and security-conscious decision due to the presence of an alleyway on the opposite side. Mounting the hinges externally prevents easy access from the alley side, meaning they cannot be tampered with or removed by anyone outside the property. This setup significantly reduces the risk of forced entry, ensuring the gate remains secure while still operating smoothly.

FC Lambourne 5-1 Loggerheads

Nice to shake rust off after 6 weeks off!

Slow first 10/15 before we started dominating the ball without creating anything clear cut. Tom Shea put us ahead, getting his 10th of the season after some great work from Miller. HT 1-0.

We knew we had to pick it up 2nd half and be more clinical in the final third and we did just that. Harry Baggaley hit a quick fire 12 minute hat-trick with the pick of the bunch been him dancing through several defenders before slotting into the near corner, also taking him to double figures for the season (10). Baggers then turned provider for Lew Wood who came off the bench and caused chaos. Scoring, assisting and having a helping hand in another goal.
