Tindall's Homehardware Tindall's Homehardware is an independent retailer based in Stokesley. We sell a range of products including Timber, Electrical, Plumbing and Hardware.

A family run traditional hardware and DIY shop. The emphasis is on friendly helpful service. The shop has extensive stocks and enjoys the local reputation that if Tindall's don’t stock it nobody will. Although this is not quite true we will do our best to source items for customers if we do not have them in stock. The shop is in an 18th century building which is originally believed to have been a

farmhouse. We know that a business selling hardware has operated out of the premises since at least 1910 when it was also the local wheelright carpenters and undertakers. Open bank holidays 10am - 4pm

Calor news update 16/5/26

Temporary surcharge on Calor gas refill/exchanges

From 18th may 2026 a temporary surcharge will be applied to the price of refill/exchanges of Calor gas. This reflects the ongoing volatility in the global energy markets.

This is intended as a short term measure while these conditions continue

The surcharge will vary depending on cylinder size and look below how much it will be for each size and type of gas refill/exchange.

Propane

3.9kg = 0.37p
6kg = 0.58p
13kg = £1.25
19kg = £1.82

Butane

4.5kg = 0.43p
7kg = 0.67p
15kg = £1.44

Patio

5kg = 0.48p
13kg = £1.25

We will inform everyone when these surcharges will be lifted or if there is a increase from Calor
