Just to let everyone know two things: I am back. Sorry for the unexpected closure.
And secondly - please note that my opening hours have had to change a little due to other commitments.
I will now be open from 9:30am to 5:30pm Mon, Tue, Thur, and Fri and open as usual 9am -5pm on Sat. I am now CLOSED all day Wednesday until further notice.
Hope everyone is well, and I look forward to seeing you in shop.

I have had lovely which means I will be closing a little early today in order to enjoy it fully. Sorry for the short notice, but I will be out of here at 3pm, and will re-open on Tuesday - I'm now having the Bank Holiday off. I hope you all enjoy, and get to spend it with those you care about.

So, as of 5:00pm tonight, I am off again and closed until Monday the 14th.

Just giving you all a little warning that if you need anything, you've got (at time of posting) just over 7 hrs.

THIS time, it's because Sarah and I are having a holiday, - which we both feel we need - and has been a long time planned and looked forward too.

Not been the greatest of years so far with some things, but it does look like it's now all going to be OK.

Thank you all for your concern and best wishes. It has meant a lot to us.

So, Zurich here we come, and lets see if the Lionesses can make it two in a row.

SO, sorry this has taken a couple of days to do, but here we go:

You wonderful, wonderful people donated:

OVER 200 toys, books and games, which weighed in at 68.9 kg - (Yes we did weigh them all. Sarah is, as most of you know, a data scientist, and data is there to be collected.)

After having spoken to the Salvo's this weekend, I can tell you that your generosity has helped to help over 250 children in our local area, who, without you, would have had next to nothing this Christmas.

So thank you again to all of you who donated here at the shop, and at the Blue Anchor.

This town is amazing. Some of you even braved being blown away by the storm yesterday to come and drop off donations.
As you can see from the pic, I look more like a toy shop than a hardware shop right now.
And remember if I'm closed and you fancy a pint - The Blue Anchor will take your donations too.
I've still got space left, and there is the rest of today, and tomorrow, left to drop stuff off!
