New battery operated sprayer has arrived just in time for the gardening season. Tested this week and far easier on the hands than pump or trigger bottles.
Tool Library open 10-12am, Saturdays, Wednesday 11-1pm.
If borrowed please rinse system through with clean water before returning!

Spring’s here so we are sharpening and sprucing up the gardening tools in preparation.
Our battery operated mower is very light and excellent for small gardens.
Open Easter Saturday 10-12am, Wednesday 11-1pm.

People often ask for a list of tools available at the library so here’s an updated one.
If you think of something we haven’t got that would be useful to the community please let us know.

We have a pay it forward scheme in place at the library now, if you’d like to buy a membership for someone else please let us know. As a little inducement the first 5 lovely pifers will receive a limited edition Tool Library mug!

The library is open again!

After long consideration we have decided to introduce a 12 month membership fee of £20, we know it’s a pain but please pay by card at reception before borrowing items. The fee will not only contribute to paying our rent and insurance but will allow us to buy some new tools to benefit the community. The average cost of a borrowed tool is around £200 so it’s great value and you don’t have to worry about maintenance and storage!

Details of a ‘pay it forward’ scheme will also be posted shortly.

Jet washers are back following Yorkshire Water lifting the hose pipe ban!

We are back open Saturday 6th September from 10-12am. Had a much needed paint and tidy up during the break. Particularly hoping to see the stud finder, tin snips and hedge trimmers again!

We are taking a break in August from this Saturday 9th, back open Wednesday 3rd September.
If you can’t return tools this Saturday please return on September 3rd or 6th.
