Over two years of running kab.hire, I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter. We launched this venture, spotting what we thought was a gap in the market for portable welfare units. Turns out, the rules and regs in this sector are a tough nut to crack—and diving in headfirst without enough research was a rookie move I won’t repeat! The real kicker? I just didn’t have the time to market and network properly while keeping my main gig humming.
The big lesson? Timing and focus are everything in business. I’m proud we gave it a shot, and I’m so grateful to my family for the support, and to every client who came along for the ride. Now, I’m putting my full energy back into Dunleakin Slating Services, where I’ve always been at home as an owner-operator. Onward and upward—here’s to new roofs and fresh starts!
