Another container conversion project is underway, with DoodleBuild working alongside our accredited installer Spray Insulations, using BASF Elastospray LWP 1672/1.
The project specification includes 50mm of BASF Elastospray LWP 1672/1 to the walls and ceilings. Its closed-cell structure provides a continuous insulation layer, helping deliver air tightness, high thermal performance, as well as helping to control condensation within the steel container environment.
The Elastospray system is combined with Stofire, an intumescent coating, to achieve a Euroclass B fire rating
Importantly, Elastospray LWP 1672/1 and Stofire have been tested and certified as a system — providing confidence that the specified solution delivers proven fire performance, rather than relying on individual product claims.
