We recently promoted Martha to head of health and safety. It started well. Her enthusiasm kept morale high but we noticed she would disappear for hours at a time.

When it comes to stonemasonry, many people worry about the lack of young people coming through - so we feel really lucky to have our apprentice Gabriel!

The rest of the team are enjoying working with him and gave us some great feedback that we're proud to share with you.

Harriet said "Gabriel has come on in leaps and bounds since he first started. From the confidence he now shows while using grinders to growing the basic mallets and chisel skill set.
He is willing to take on new challenges, and perfect the everyday jobs."

Ian added: "Having worked with Gabriel for roughly a year I'm increasingly impressed with his progress as a mason but more importantly as college he is always confident in offering opinions and is very well spoken, he has shown a good attitude in taking advice and following instructions."
