Fret Ye Not For I Am The Keeper of Frets

So, I was chatting to this guy and he said he would not buy our products because of the evil satanic connotations and whimsical musings about the devil that our products imply. He also stated that it was a shame because he felt we would do better if we didn't alienate a huge chunk of people who don't take kindly to satanic musings.

So in order to lighten things up a bit we give you the Cross Eyed Devil Goat Skull.

So..........

Our motto has always been "WE ARE IN IT FOR THE FUNNY, NOT THE MONEY" - which has really helped in keeping our costs down.

Well..........

We came up with a new product. We wanted to make a small file like tool that would take emery paper and could be used for all sorts of small filing and cleaning up sharp ends. In our part of England the word we instantly thought of was Feckle. i.e to Feckle a bit of wood. So we called the tool "The Feckler".

oh no............

Turns out that if you google a "Feckler" it has quite a different urban meaning. Please do not google it - it could break you.

So we are about to launch our new product over the weekend.
It will be called "The Fettler" - which is a far safer if less funny word.

We apologise for leaving our motto behind for this one.

Just launched today. Hellfire's take on the Fret Bevel. It comes supplied with a flat smooth steel file that slots nicely into the body and is tightened with the supplied allen wrench.. We are also supplying a pack of emery cloth with each Beveller cut to size and in 3 different grits that when placed in front of the file allows you more finesse over your sanding.

Body is FDM printed and available in 3 styles (Bone, Marble and Grey)
The filing angles are 90 and 35 degrees.
Emery grits 320, 180, 120
File - Engineers grade smooth cut

More new products are incoming aka The Fettler, The Lil' Fettler, The Bevellator5000 ) or something like that - I can never remember the name of the new Bevel tool - anyway all names are subject to last minute changes.

Watch this space...well not this space because we have finished with this exact space - it will probably be a new space created later.

We are making our own feeler gauges. The stuff we have been buying in has gradually got sh!tt3r and sh!tt3r and we are throwing a lot away that don't meet our standards.

So the blades have been sourced locally from the UK and the casing we are doing ourselves. FDM printed here in Manchester.

The cheap Asian online shops (that now stock goods in warehouses in the UK for faster delivery) and use cheap materials and labour to produce poor quality goods are killing the UK business.

As UK businesses continue to pay minimum wage, pension contributions for its staff, ridiculously high national insurance payments and taxes, Asian companies are allowed to stock UK warehouses with poorly made products that flout UK safety standards and not to mention all the fakes, cons and plain thievery that goes on.

OK Rant over - If you are not buying Hellfire then please buy from other UK manufacturers that make their own stuff. Not just the ones that resell the rubbish from China at a premium.
