🌧️💨 Is your polycarbonate roof ready for the storms? 🌧️💨

With Storm Austen expected to bring strong winds to south-west England on Friday, followed by Storm Boelo bringing more wet and windy weather across the UK over the weekend, now is a good time to check your polycarbonate roof!

Older roofs or those that haven't been installed correctly can be particularly vulnerable when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Getting the glazing centres right is essential! Always follow the recommended support centres for your type and thickness of polycarbonate sheet.

Need to exceed the recommended centres? Consider installing intermediate rafters, purlins or noggins to provide additional support, fixing the sheet to these using suitable polycarbonate fixing buttons.

✅ Have you checked your roof lately?

A few extra fixings and some additional support could help prevent damage and save you the cost of an expensive repair.
