🪾First time user of the baby Dosco stump grinder so forgive the amateur job. I was a woman on a mission! 😂

🚚Had assistance to load into and out of a van but single handedly pushed this without too much effort, (due to its lightweight) the length of this acre garden, over the bridge and up the orchard on the other side to stump grind seven small stumps (her size six boots for scale as she’s not done the shop yet so no 🍌 banana).

💪 All done and back in the van within half an hour by a 55 year old woman. Why pay a pro why you can DIY?

OWNER NOW IDENTIFIED. - eventually got there...

Note some of our comments about the correct recording of crimes and also victims passing Police at the time of reporting the offence the very important information that allows the Police to circulate plant machinery and trailers and vehicles nationally and locally.
We can not circulate a trailer etc without a serial number..

Confirmed stolen over night from Corby Glen and owner very happy.

So the next question.. Is this .

🥲👋 Dave and Connor’s Leaving ‘Do’ 👋😢

14 out of 23 of us headed out to Gino’s to say goodbye to two much loved members of our TFM team.

🏍️Our Dave from TFM Hire - Whisby is taking sometime out of working life to travel including a Lands End to John O’Groats trip on his monkey bike with ‘our Big Al’ to raise funds for Dementia UK, a cause very close to his heart. Dave is very much loved, totally bonkers and will be missed although I don’t think he’ll be a stranger when the missus has an ‘oss! 😂🐴 A huge character and life at TFM won’t quite be the same ever again! You only have to look at the state of his office wall with a random bear in an orange wig, the repositioned ‘ladies’ sign from the loo door, various donated/crafted artwork in his ‘honour’ (and worse) to know he’s a much adored nutter in our midst. 😜

✈️Connor has been with us since 6th form. I used to watch him catching the bus across from TFM in his school uniform so I recognised him when he dropped his CV in one day. He’s stayed with us through his Aerospace Degree in Coventry as he worked pretty much full time through the holidays at TFM to support his Uni experience. He got a job many months ago but lucky for us the checking progress took an age so we got to keep him quite a bit longer. 💕 He started as such a quiet lad and it’s been an absolute pleasure to see him grow into a confident, articulate, dynamic, very lovely bloke with sharp wit and amazing humour. Connor is our ‘go to’ man for anything IT related or those niggly jobs in the shop that few have the patience for. At well over six feet (feels like nearer seven) his height comes in handy too! 😂

Our Connor invented ‘Biscuit Wednesday’s’ to get us through our heaviest delivery days. Score charts, verbal warnings if you dare to bring in something that isn’t a real biscuit (don’t even think about suggesting Jaffa cakes, I tried and nearly got marched off the premises 😂🍪) and advice on what really does constitute a biscuit . . . as he takes his role as Biscuit Boss very seriously 🤪. He’s got another two weeks to put up with us before he heads off this his new career.

😢 So whilst our TFM family changes yet again, we somehow know these two won’t be strangers. 💕 I think Connor’s being encouraged to take a TFM radio (he lives a stones throw away) for his working from home days and Dave’s asked to stay in our ‘Biscuit Chat’ on What’s App. 🥰
