Since being formed in 1997, our express purpose has been to provide customers throughout the U.K. and Ireland with exceptional service and value in every sector in which we operate including export. This aim extends to all those involved with our products, from specifiers and designers to stockists, contractors and end users. Our large and diverse customer base includes Roofing, Timber, Agricultur

al and Builders’ Merchants. Our wide range of products include not just roofing and building products but also timber treatments, silicones and adhesives, making Cromar a one stop shop for all merchants needs. Cromar Building Products is independently owned, and, as such we take pride in encouraging and responding quickly to new and changing demands placed upon us. This is why we now supply one of the largest ranges within the industry. At the end of 2019 it was announced that we had made our first acquisition, Acrypol Products. Known throughout the industry for their key product Acrypol+, the original waterproofing coating, the products and customers make an exciting addition to the already large range of products that we sell.

At Cromar Building Products, through independent ownership, since forming in 1997, we provide a one stop shop for all flat and pitched roofing products, along with a full portfolio of building chemicals, adhesives, sealants, timber treatments, tanking membranes and DPC’s. This all-encompassing range features our key brand names including PRO GRP, Cromapol, Vent3, Leadax, Pro Ridge, Flexiglass, AlphaChem and many more. With a turnover of over £26 million we are proud to be a rapidly growing UK manufacturer.

Not only that, but at a time of continuing mergers, acquisitions and consequent reduction in supplier choice, we take pride in the fact we are independent, giving better flexibility to respond quickly to new and changing customer needs. With deliveries leaving numerous times a day to customers throughout the UK and Ireland, and further afield to our export customers, we pride ourselves in offering exceptional service and value.

We currently manufacture over 70% of our product range at our facility in Whitley Bridge, the highlight of which is our membrane plant, installed in 2009 it features state of the art machinery unique to Cromar in the UK. We work to make continuous plant and machinery improvements to ensure we reach peak efficiency and production yields to meet growing customer demands.

Constantly expanding, we have most recently added a 47,000 sq foot warehouse to our building portfolio, which means that we can hold even more stock to meet customers demands.
