A custom built neck pickup for a client, just in time for Christmas, we sat down and figured out what kind of tone they'd like, and what kind of aesthetic would fit the guitar! We decided to go for a stealthy black as it's going to be put in a BC Rich Warlock! However, the tonality will be rather bright for a humbucker with a defined low end

Had a go at modding my RAT. Oh Boy, is it cool now.
Bright white LED to see when it's on easier on a dim stage.

Boss style barrel power socket.

LM308 Chip on a modular base, so can be swapped out.

3 way Filter to make it more bass friendly.

3 way clipping switch to move between a "You Dirty Rat" a standard Rat and a Turbo Rat with exposed LEDs that are exposed so you can see your signal distorting.

My own Zakk Wylde received and upgrade with some of my own custom made pickups.
Mismatched slugs and screws to match the zebra bobbins and finish, and a Custom humbucker sized P90 in the neck with black screws on a gold cover.

A little before and after on this Fender Jazmaster. I made some Jazmaster pickups and put some black covers on it to really make them pop. It needed a little more output for the style of music that it'd be used for, so we worked together to make sure we'd get the right tone.
