The Proceq GS9000 SFCW Multi‑Channel GPR survey in November 2025 scanned the alignment of underground fire hydrant mains and identified potential leakage point within a gas station. This proactive, non‑invasive approach was chosen to reduce excavation risks, prevent accidental strikes on adjacent fuel lines, and avoid fire or environmental incidents—critical concerns for a fuel retail site. Following recent excavation approval, the leak and pipe damage have been confirmed at the pre-located point, enabling safe, targeted intervention with minimal disruption.

Proceq GPR has officially been selected for Japan’s National Sinkhole Prevention & Deep Cavity Detection Program! 🇯🇵

With thousands of underground voids threatening urban roads every year, conventional inspection methods simply can't scan deep enough to catch them early.

Submitted by Tectus Japan, our GPR technology was chosen by the Advanced Construction Technology Center (ACTEC) for MLIT to deliver a two-stage workflow for preventative maintence:

• Network Screening (GM8000): Rapid vehicle-mounted scanning at traffic speeds.
• Targeted Investigation (GS9000):Deep, high-resolution follow-up scans on flagged areas.
