在11月中旬，香港特別行政區建築署邀請了棕科建材（Palmeco），讓大家了解他們在建築材料上的創新及環保特點。這次交流不僅探討了如何在建築應用中實現碳減排，還助力推動碳中和的實現！

In mid-November, the Architectural Services Department of the HKSAR invited Palmeco to showcase their innovative and eco-friendly materials! 🌿💚 We’re thrilled to explore how these cutting-edge solutions can play a vital role in carbon reduction within our buildings, helping Hong Kong move towards its carbon neutrality goal by 2050.

Mr. Wilfred Lau, Founder and Managing Director of Palmeco, had an insightful discussion with key figures from the Architectural Services Department, including Mr. Alan Sin (Deputy Director), Mr. M C Chung (Assistant Director, Architectural), and Mr. Raymond Chan (Assistant Director, Property Service). Together with over 20 architects, engineers, and property service managers, they delved into the functional applications of Palmeco’s materials and their potential to minimize embodied carbon in construction. 🏢🔍

This interior renovation of the Building’s Management Office focused on environmental sustainability, while fostering a lively workplace atmosphere as well as workplace wellbeing🙆‍♂️💚.

In order to meet the environmental sustainability requirements, every material for the office was carefully selected for its environmental factors: being recycled or recyclable, having low lifetime carbon emissions, and being manufactured in factories with environmental management systems.

Palmeco Master Board is made from 100% recycled or recovered fibre♻️, originating from post-industrial recycled agricultural waste, enabling these strict environmental requirements to be met whilst delivering superior fire and moisture resistance, acoustic insulation, and impact performance.

[Company News] Palmeco successfully participated in FSBI Mumbai 2023

Palmeco is committed to developing and producing a wide range of eco-friendly building materials. Recently, Palmeco's Indian agent, Palmeco Acoustics & Passive Fire Solutions, participated in FSBI Mumbai 2023.

During the exhibition, our regional distributor showcased a range of Palmeco Master Board and fire-resistant doors made from Palmeco's Geo-Insulator material. This innovative material is particularly suitable for fire doors, as it enhances the overall safety of the building. Its fire-resistant and eco-friendly advantages make installation and handling more convenient, while the lightweight material is another ideal choice for environmentally friendly materials.
