Osmo from Around the World: This time is from UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧
It's high time to get this bench ready for summer – with the right protection and with style!
The charming, aged wood look is timelessly beautiful. But, without proper protection, the wood quickly suffers under the effects of sun, rain and changes in temperature. It's clear: this bench needs some loving and care.
Without any coating, the bench has turned grey over time due to natural sunlight. To restore the wood to its original colour, Wood Reviver Power-Gel was used.
For protection and a beautiful finish, chose our Osmo Garden Stain in 7253 Patina – the perfect complement to the surroundings. It gives the wood an elegant grey look and protects it against the elements reliably.
What makes the whole project even easier and faster? A practical spray application! This drastically reduces the application time and completes the project quickly and effortlessly.
Deutsch:

Osmo from Around the World: This time is from China🇨🇳🇨🇳
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘀?
When it comes to choosing a gift for the beloved pandas, like Yuner and Zhensheng, it needs to be thoughtful, safe, and tailored to their playful nature. Recently, these two famous pandas in China received eye-catching wooden highchairs, which quickly became their favorite spots to play, eat, and relax.
The highchairs were designed with the pandas’ safety and preferences in mind. To ensure the highchairs were both durable and panda-friendly, the factory used 𝐎𝐬𝐦𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 in colors that Yuner and Zhensheng adore. Not only do Osmo finishes protect and decorate the chairs, but they also meet high safety standards—safe for humans, animals, and plants.
Thanks to Osmo’s advanced tinting system, the selected colors were tinted directly at a local shop by using Osmo tinting machine. The finished surface is not only vibrant and appealing but also highly water-repellent and weather-resistant, making it perfect for using in exterior areas.
Now, Yuner and Zhensheng can’t get enough of their new highchairs! They love playing, eating, and even striking adorable poses on them. It’s a heartwarming sight that shows how much care and thought went into creating the perfect gift for these lovable pandas.
DE:

𝑶𝒔𝒎𝒐 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅: 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏🇪🇸🇪🇸
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗥
This solid wood table developed by Moriche Atelier is a masterpiece that combines the natural beauty of American red oak with the wisdom and artistry of Pavel Moriche. The heartwood of this American red oak is known for its characteristic light pink tone, highly prized in decoration.
American red oak (Quercus rubra) is a tree native to North America, introduced to Europe during the 18th century for the shipbuilding industry because of its rapid growth. Later, when the natural durability of the heartwood was found to be low, it was discarded for naval use; today in Spain it is cultivated and grows wild all over the Cantabrian coast, forming forests with beautiful foliage.
At Osmo, we are fortunate that Pavel has chosen Osmo as the most suitable treatment for his "wild sculptures", his beautiful creations: he applies and "caresses" our Top Oil Original Clear Satin into the wood by hand in the first layers, to detect the smallest sanding irregularities, penetrating and nourishing the wood naturally.
Each piece coming out of Moriche Atelier is a work of art and a healing amulet, working as an union between man and nature, throughout this concentrated and wise work. Pavel puts his soul into each piece and so there is a bit of Pavel's soul in each piece and a bit of the ancestral wisdom of each tree in the heart of Pavel and each end user.
Here we see a part of the process.
The finished piece will preside over the dining room of a beautiful country house on the island of Ibiza.

Osmo from Around the World: This time is from Japan🇯🇵🇯🇵
Osmo was selected for the new school building at Minobu Junior High School in Minobu-cho, Minamikoma-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, which was completed in March 2024.
The new Minobu Junior High School building was constructed in response to the aging of the previous school building. It is a two-story, partially wood-frame, partially reinforced concrete school building with a lot of wood from the prefecture and the town. In the entrance hall, there are six cedar pillars, which are more than 100 years old and were donated by Kuonji Temple on Mt. Minobu.
.
To protect the wood and to achieve a finish that brings out the unique appearance of each wood piece, Osmo was used on the interior and exterior wood surfaces. A custom color was selected that most closely matched the client's wishes, aiming for a natural finish close to the wood's original surface.
