Talent deserves opportunity, and Gearóid McDaid is a brilliant example of what can happen when athletes get the support they need. Supported through the Kingspan Kickstart Sports Fund, Gearóid went on to claim European gold for Ireland in 2025 in a historic result for Irish surfing.

Last month, colleagues from across the Kingspan Group were proud to join 4ocean’s milestone celebration in Florida.

4ocean, one of our Planet Passionate partners, has now surpassed 50 million pounds of plastic and rubbish removed from oceans, rivers, and coastlines around the world.

It is one of the largest verified ocean clean-up achievements to date, with every pound collected documented and tracked so the impact is real and measurable.

Kickstart is about helping to remove the financial barriers that stand in the way of progress.

It has supported hundreds of athletes and organisations across Ireland to get closer to their goals. GAA clubs, surfers, triathletes, cyclists, and gymnasts have all benefited.

The hardest part of sport shouldn't be getting to the start line. It is about removing the barriers so that the only thing limiting you is how hard you are willing to work!

To support that effort, the Kingspan Kickstart Sports Fund is now open for 2026 applications.

Kickstart is for people pushing at different levels. From local GAA clubs boosting community participation, right through to athletes chasing a chance to represent Ireland in LA28.

Ten hours, 33 minutes, and an oxygen concentrator. That's what it took for David Crosby to cross the finish line at the Chicago Marathon.

After a double lung transplant, Covid-19 coma, kidney failure, and receiving a life-saving kidney from his wife Katie, David refused to give up on his dream to promote organ donation.

Through our Kingspan Kickstart sports fund, we supported David every step of this incredible journey. Alongside Katie and his dedicated team, he proved the impossible is possible.

Ten hours, 33 minutes, and an oxygen concentrator. That's what it took for David Crosby to cross the finish line at the Chicago Marathon.

An outstanding couple of days across our Kingspan sports partnerships.

RC Toulon delivered back-to-back dominant performances, crushing Lyon 54-21 at the beginning of November before dismantling La Rochelle 39-14 at the weekend. This impressive form has propelled Toulon to second place in the Top 14 standings, sitting level on points with Toulouse at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Uruguay Rugby secured a convincing 26-8 victory over Portugal in Lisbon, with a supreme second-half performance. The win has seen Los Teros climb four places to 15th in the World Rugby Rankings, moving ahead of key rivals and securing a more favourable position for the Rugby World Cup 2027 draw.

Across in the golfing world, Mark Power has shown tremendous resilience at the DP World Tour Q-School Final Stage. After making the 72-hole cut with a sparkling five-under 67, Mark has secured his HotelPlanner Tour card for next season and remains in contention for DP World Tour status heading into the final rounds.

400km. 4 days. 3 countries. €378,374 raised.

The KingSpin 2025 team has officially handed over our fundraising cheque to ARC Cancer Support Centres, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together.

Led by our Group CEO Gene Murtagh, 48 Kingspan employees, family and friends cycled through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. Each cyclist self-funded their trip and set a personal fundraising target of €2,000 each, which Kingspan matched. Together, we exceeded our wildest expectations.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from colleagues, suppliers, family and friends who rallied behind this cause. Every contribution will help ARC continue providing free, professional support to people impacted by cancer.

To everyone who rode, donated, and cheered us on, thank you for being part of something special.

KingSpin 2025 is a wrap!

The KingSpin team left Kranjska Gora on Wednesday morning for an epic final day of the 400km tour.

Breath-taking landscapes, autumn tree-lined bike paths and serene lakes, criss-crossing in and out of Slovenia and Italy. From the 68km mark it was a downhill ride into the Italian town of Udine, marking the end of an unbelievable inaugural KingSpin event.

48 Kingspan employees, family and friends took on 400km over four days through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, raising vital funds for ARC Cancer Support Centres. Every kilometre, every climb, every personal challenge was worth it.

To everyone who rode, supported, and donated, thank you for making KingSpin 2025 one to remember

Final day 🚴

The KingSpin 2025 team is tackling the last leg of their 400km journey today, pushing through to the finish after three incredible days on the road.

48 Kingspan employees, family and friends have ridden through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, taking on challenging climbs, long stretches and everything in between. Every kilometre covered has been in support of ARC Cancer Support Centres, raising vital funds for free, professional support services for anyone impacted by cancer.

One more day. One final push. Almost there.

Kingspin 2025 is underway 🚴

48 cyclists, made up of Kingspan employees, family and friends, have set off on a four-day, 400km challenge across Croatia, Slovenia and Italy to raise vital funds for ARC Cancer Support Centres.

Starting from Opatija on the Adriatic coast, the route winds through challenging terrain and stunning landscapes across three countries. It’s a serious test of endurance, with every kilometre ridden in support of a cause that matters.

ARC Cancer Support Centres provide free, professional support services to anyone impacted by cancer. The funds raised will help ensure these essential services remain available to those who need them most.

We’re proud to support this cause and the incredible people taking on the challenge.

Kingscourt, Co. Cavan is home to our global head office, so we're proud to support the town through our Planet Passionate communities initiative.

We've partnered with Kingscourt Tidy Towns to install BigBelly solar compactor bins in the town. They reduce waste overflow, eliminate wind-blown litter, and need fewer collections, helping keep the town cleaner and more sustainable.

Thanks to everyone at Future Street, Kingscourt Tidy Towns, and Cavan County Council for bringing this to life.
