Our very first retail premises, located on Parnell St in Limerick, is the same site as the one that is in use today. While our location may not have changed, the organisation itself has undergone dramatic change and growth since its inception. Our core business has always been the supply of top-branded hand and power tools, both for craftsmen and for home owners who are eager to get involved in DIY. Since the opening of our new store in May of 2004, we have been able to expand our ranges and variety of products. Our range of hand tools is the largest in the country. We carry all the top brands in quality power tools, including the latest addition to our stock - Festool. Our machinery showroom is filled with impressive equipment for woodworking, woodturning and educational use. We also supply safety equipment and clothing, and we provide an extensive range of hardware, nuts, bolts, screws and fixings to suit all jobs. Joe McKenna's is situated on Parnell St. in the heart of Limerick City. We are almost directly accross the road from Limerick's train & bus depot, Colbert Station. Parking can always be difficult in the heart of Limerick city, but if you can't find any spaces on the street in front of Joe McKenna's, there is a multistory carpark on Roche's St, just around the corner.
