Business on Athlone road, let’s get behind The FTD Brothers on Monday 11 May! Run is due to leave Stonepark approx 1.45 and will run in the Athlone road on route to the finish line!
Raising awareness and funds to support research into finding a cure for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), ‘The FTD Brothers’ Jordan and Cian Adams are currently undertaking 32 marathons in 32 days across Ireland.
The Longford leg of the challenge is fast approaching and everyone is encouraged to get out and support the brothers on their 26.2 miles journey in our county.
Date: Monday 11 May.

- Start from
THE MALL, to Kiernan’s Cross, via Ballinalee Road (3.7 miles, arriving at 10.30am).
- Kiernan’s Cross to Newtownforbes, via Leitrim Cross (6.0 miles, arriving at 11.30am).
- Newtownforbes to Clondra Bridge, via Kilmore Cross (6.0 miles, arriving at 12.30pm).
- Clondra Bridge to Royal Canal Greenway car park Stonepark (7.4 miles, arriving at 1.45pm).
- Royal Canal Greenway car park Stonepark to St. Mel’s Cathedral (3.1 miles, arriving at 2.20pm).
