Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, GIETU Mechanical Engineering department established in 1997, the department has emerged as a powerhouse fo Ltd.

The department provides the B.Tech program with intake strength of one hundred twenty students and three post-graduate programs with an intake of eighteen each. The mechanical department has obtained NBA accreditation four times. The department is well equipped with excellent laboratory facilities and resources both in terms of hardware and software. The department of Mechanical Engineering has a

center of excellence with Autodesk in association with Twintech, Republic motors, SV NDT Pvt. for proving better education towards CAD/CAM, Automobile, Thermal engineering, and Production. Department has signed MoUs with various universities and industries of international repute.
