How do you take clayey, expansive, overburden soil and convert it into high strength load bearing bricks with using a kiln or cement in Rajasthan?

Every building has a beginning. Few people think about where it ends.

India is generating enormous amounts of construction and demolition waste as cities expand, redevelop, and rebuild. A large share of that material still ends up in landfills, open dumping sites, and other unmanaged spaces.

That makes the materials we choose today part of tomorrow’s waste problem.

If we want construction to become more circular, the conversation has to begin long before demolition. It starts with what we put into our buildings in the first place.

The future of construction isn’t only about building more. It’s about building with materials that leave a better legacy when their first life is over.

One of the first questions contractors ask about Agrocrete®️ is how it needs to be stored on site.

The answer is simple: there are no special storage requirements.

Just stack the blocks on a flat surface, as you would with conventional masonry blocks. During heavy rain, covering them is good site practice, but no specialised storage or controlled conditions are required.

Agrocrete®️ is designed for real construction environments and everyday site conditions. With water absorption of less than 10%, compared with approximately 18–20% for conventional red bricks, the blocks absorb significantly less moisture in wet conditions.

Because innovation in construction should make things better, not make the site more complicated.

India is building at an extraordinary pace. New homes, offices, schools, hospitals, and entire cities are taking shape every day. Behind much of that construction is a material we rarely think about: the humble clay brick.

But producing billions of bricks requires an enormous amount of energy. Across India, brick kilns consume vast quantities of coal and contribute to emissions and particulate pollution, particularly during peak production seasons.

The impact of construction begins long before a brick reaches a building site.It begins with the energy required to make every material that goes into the building.

As India continues to build for the future, the materials powering that growth deserve a bigger conversation.Because the future of our cities is shaped long before the walls go up.

Vizag’s next chapter is being built right now.

Data centres bring investment, jobs, technology, and the infrastructure needed for a growing digital economy. They also require an enormous amount of planning, land, materials, energy, and water before they ever go live.

From site preparation and construction to concrete, steel, transportation, machinery, cooling systems, and ongoing operations, every stage leaves an environmental footprint.

As Vizag grows into a major technology hub, these conversations need to grow alongside it.Progress is also about understanding the resources behind the infrastructure we depend on.

Innovation rarely follows the path you expect.

Our journey began with Hempcrete, a material that had already proven its potential in other parts of the world. We spent years studying it, refining it, and exploring how it could be adapted for India.

Then one evening in Delhi changed everything.

The air was difficult to breathe, and it led to a simple question: Why should valuable agricultural residue be burnt when it could become something useful?

That question became Agrocrete®️.

Today, agricultural residues that would otherwise be burnt and contribute to seasonal air pollution are transformed into carbon-negative building materials used in real construction projects.

The strongest proof of belief is using it yourself.

Long before our first commercial sale, we made a decision that shaped everything that followed. In 2019, we built our own factory entirely with Agrocrete®️.

Every wall in our production facility was constructed using the same material we would later ask our customers to trust.

That decision has been tested every single day since. Through changing seasons, heavy rains, and years of continuous use, our factory has performed exactly as we intended.

Today, we recommend Agrocrete®️ with confidence because we’ve built with it ourselves.

The strongest proof of belief is using your own product where it matters most.

When it came time to build our factory, every decision was on the table. We chose to build the entire facility with Agrocrete® because we believed confidence should come from experience, not just claims.

Today, the same walls that surround our team, support our machines, and power our operations are built with the materials we ask others to trust.

Every day we walk into a building that reflects the standards we expect from every project.

Every breakthrough starts with a version that looks nothing like the final one.

Ours began with a machine we simply called “the cooker.” Built to process crop fibres, it was large enough for a person to step inside, powered by steam, and opened using a handmade pulley system because the lid became too hot to touch.

Over the next six years, every challenge became an opportunity to improve the process, redesign the machinery, and build something better.

Innovation rarely happens in one big leap. It happens through hundreds of small iterations that nobody sees.
