TQ Drums is a young and ambitious company in the field of musical instruments, specializing particularly in acoustic drums. Luca Galmarini, the founder of TQ, is also an avid drummer. TQ was established after conducting extensive sound r
esearch using very versatile and unique methods. At TQ, we pride ourselves on our drums’ ease and stability of tuning, as well as our high standards of quality and reasonable prices. TQ Drums are based on the revolutionary and innovative QC “QUADRATURA DEL CERCHIO (SQUARING THE CIRCLE)” system. This system consists of putting 4 curved panels between 2 circular frames. The panels meet at 90 degree angles to form four “squared” corners. This gives the drum not only a unique look, but a distinct and more controlled sound. TQ Drums began production after years of resources and energy spent on tests and post-production. Everything was made possible thanks to the collaboration of various engineers, musicians and sound technicians. The work carried out by these people has led to optimal results, especially in the field. TQ plans to have the majority of its hardware produced in Italy. Some examples are:

TQ drums è una giovane realtà nel panorama dei costruttori di strumenti musicali e nello specifico di batterie acustiche, prodotte con orgoglio in Italia. TQ (Testa Quadra) abbraccia e promuove filosofie costruttive e di design radicalmente nuove, che pongono al centro di tutto la ricerca timbrica e la versatilità sempre al servizio dell’artista, unite a praticità di utilizzo e di trasporto. Le batterie TQ si basano su un’innovazione rivoluzionaria, il sistema QC “QUADRATURA DEL CERCHIO”, ovvero l’unione di due anelli tramite quattro pannelli curvati, che assemblati formano delle cuspidi all’interno dei tamburi. Le superfici d’incollatura dei quattro pannelli curvati vengono poi accoppiate con angoli di 90°. TQ drums ha raggiunto eccellenti risultati nella produzione, dopo anni di ricerca e sviluppo, e grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di ingegneri, professionisti del settore, musicisti e fonici, che hanno investito energie e risorse in questo progetto. TQ ha progettato e produce in Italia anche la maggior parte della componentistica meccanica, come la piastra per il pedale grancassa in acciaio, con altezza regolabile, oppure gli inserti in ottone per il fissaggio dei cerchi. La lavorazione con macchine all’avanguardia e la cura maniacale dei dettagli, unitamente all’assemblaggio artigianale e al controllo qualità di ogni singolo modello prima della vendita, garantiscono l’eccellenza e la durabilità del prodotto.
