• First bike build since getting back from my trip, and I really had a blast with this one. Needless to say, I’ve been an fan for 10 years and have sold a bunch of first-generation U.P./Wi.De models. Beyond the undeniable quality of their products, I love the brand’s philosophy—“Working hard to stay small”—and that almost amateurish, no-frills approach to marketing.
This new generation of U.P. frames retains Open’s DNA—comfort—while adding just the right amount of aerodynamics and modern design. Production has now been moved back to Portugal, which is a definite plus. The Adventure version has just been released for those who want to push the limits.
All frames are available in an RTP (ready to paint) version, allowing you to have fun with custom colors like on this one. To take customization even further, beautiful parts like the Pop crankset and components remain staples I never tire of. I love supporting small brands owned by passionate people who fight to keep the alternative scene alive amidst the big corporations—thank you to all my customers who help make that happen.

Kicking off the new year with a fresh build for our friend Sean (no, not our Sean, just another Sean with impeccable taste and a Beach Club to drool over 🤤)

Gravioli, custom paint complemented by a suite of bits in Matte Midnight, with hubs custom laced to hoops wrapped in 650b rubber 👌, GRX group, crankset, saddle, Ti cages from , and a really sweet titanium stem and seatpost made by none other than the legend !

This build was a long time coming for Sean, an excellent human and longtime supporter of our little shop who finally got to treat himself to a custom build 😻 thank you Sean!! Training for the LA Invitational triple scoop starts now 😉 if you see Sean out cruising on the Gravioli say ciao! We have some of these frames ready to rock here at the shop if you like what you see 😘
