As October comes to a close, we must be reminded that breast cancer awareness, support and advocacy must never end with the month. 🎀
While October shines a special light on the fight; the conversation, compassion and commitment to making a difference must continue throughout all 12 months of the year.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there can be approximately 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer in a year, making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women globally.
We encourage early detection, supporting those currently fighting, remembering those we have lost, celebrating survivors or contributing to research and better access to care.
As we put the pink ribbons away for another October, let us never put away the awareness, the empathy or the willingness to support.
