Choosing the Right Water Installation for Your Space - Film Fall and Water Pearl

Water Pearl creates its signature levitating-water illusion with spherical droplets approximately 10 mm in diameter.

To keep the droplets beautifully shaped and achieve the strongest visual effect, the recommended installation height is approximately 4–5 metres.

Above this height, the droplets can gradually lose their spherical form and turn into a finer mist.

Lighting is equally important. Water Pearl relies on specialised lighting, so controlling sunlight and strong ambient light helps the floating droplets appear much brighter and clearer.

For much taller spaces, Film Fall is another option.

Film Fall can create dramatic vertical water installations from heights of approximately 30 metres, guiding water down extremely thin, durable transparent strips so that it appears to flow freely through the air.

It is particularly suited to atriums, stairwells, hotels, public spaces, and large architectural environments.

For safety, Film Fall should always be positioned beyond visitors’ reach, including from balconies, staircases, and surrounding walkways.

The Water Pearl shown in our explanation video is 3000 mm wide, 2000 mm high, and 1200 mm deep.
The recommended maximum height is 4000 mm.
Above this height, the water droplets can begin to lose their shape as they fall. To preserve the clearest levitating effect and the beauty of each droplet, we recommend keeping the installation within 4 metres high.

Lighting also makes a big difference.

The darker the surrounding space — and the more sunlight can be controlled or blocked — the brighter and more vivid the levitating droplets will appear.
