Building a ONE week house.

Preliminary:
Take two hours to outline the house model through the project Architect to avoid back and forth works or abortive works.

Conditions:
1.Work schedule to be followed closely.
2.Avoid wet concrete works.
3.Fabrication to be done away from site.
4.Budget should be open to accommodate extra facilitation and equipments and emergency services .
5.Minimal human labour.
6.Work extra hours.
7.Power availability and lighting set up to be done on day 1 of moving to site.
8.Two cranes and power back up equipment.

The Work:

Day One
Prepare a suspended foundation using I beams to achieve the structural strength and resilience to hold weight. NB not tubes.

Day Two
Lay all the ground floor prefab concrete slabs that should take around 3 hours maximum, proceed to structural columns, start on structural prefabricated concrete walling starting with the wall around the toilet or wet areas.
The plumbers and electrician to move in Immediately.

Day Three
Placing of the roof cover which can be of concrete slab, or roofed steel structure fabricated away which by now should be done and ready for lifting and positioning.

Day Four
Painting first coat and sealing of all joints between the concrete inter locking joints.

Service works, mechanical and electrical works to start doors and already constructed kitchen and wardrobes away from the site.

Day Five
Final painting and fittings installation, sewerage or biodigester installation and water connection, installation of floor laminate or wood look carpets.

Day Six
Inspection.
Demobilization.

Day Seven
Hand over.

Conclusion.
