Salary: 850,000 +++
Job Overview:
An IT Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and networks. This role involves responding to support tickets, resolving technical issues, and assisting with system upgrades and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Assist with network administration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Manage Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
Support cloud services and virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.).
Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of system configurations.
Provide user training and create knowledge base articles for common issues.
Assist with cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with other IT teams and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
Understanding of IT security best practices and endpoint protection.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA A+ (Hardware & Software Troubleshooting)
CompTIA Network+ (Networking Basics)
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
ITIL Foundation (IT Service Management)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (for cloud-related roles)
Work Environment & Schedule:
Monday–Saturday schedule, with occasional after-hours support.
Hybrid or remote work options may be available depending on company policy.
Some travel may be required for on-site support at branch locations.
