If you are planning to establish a bakery in Nigeria today, here is the raw, unvarnished truth and practical blueprint you need to succeed.

1. Start Small, but Think Big
Don’t rush into a massive industrial setup from day one. Start with a solid mini or medium-sized kitchen. Master your production process, lock down your distribution channels, and then scale up. Over-investing in massive infrastructure too early is the number one graveyard for new bakeries.

2. Learn the Skill Yourself (Learn the Asiri)
Even if you plan to hire the best master bakers in the country, you must understand the baking process. You need to know how the dough reacts to the weather, how fermentation works, and how to spot a bad batch. If you don't know the craft, you are entirely at the mercy of your staff.
