The Interdependent People Foundation (T*I*P*F) is not Governmental and not religions organization, established on January, 2009 with the aims and objectives: to promote peace and unity among all Nigerians; to promote youth development and empowerment through skills acquisition training programs to community members in th
e ICT field of studies. In the past ten years “The Interdependent People Foundation (TIPF)” has successfully offered free Computer Education to more than 2000 Certificate and Diploma students, at an estimated cost of Thirty Million Naira (30,000,000,
2009-2011 we graduated 136 students, 2011-2012 we graduated 250 students, 2012-2013 we graduated 375 students, 2013-2014 we graduated 202 students, 2014-2015 we graduated 226 students, 2015-2016 we graduated 235 students, 2016-2017 we graduated 227 students, 2017-2018 we graduated 313 students, 2018-2019 we graduated 244 students, 2019-2020 we graduated 300 students. The Interdependent People Foundation scored it registration with “Cooperate Affairs Commission CAC” and department of “Community Development CD” at Kaduna South Local Government. Arrangement have been made for the reiteration and collaboration with National and International bodies i.e. Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPCN), Federal Ministry of Labor, Microsoft cooperation etc this will upgrade our operations and services. Another remarkable development we have is to creation a newly centres apart of Barnawa centre in the following locations; Rigasa, Gadan Gayan, Kura-Kano State, Makera, Downquater, and Jakuko-Yobe State. The students who graduated from the centre are now earning their living through commercial type setting, repair and maintaining a computer's hardware and software, some of our students are Graphic designer in various business centre, many have initiated Business centres and cyber cafes, many got promotion in their working place and host of others got admission into higher institution to further their computer education. Due to outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, after the last graduation of our computer students on 8th March, 2020 which was followed up by closure of schools and Business activities in the country, The Interdependent People Foundation Collaborated with Superstar Communication, signed an agreement to sponsoring and training 60 youths in Satellite Dish and CCTV Camera Instillation & Maintenance free from central registration fee, this is in line with our effort to eradicate poverty and encourage our youths to become self-employed and reduce crime rate from the society. Finally, “I can't do it along; I need your support, I need your assistance, I need your understanding and I need your participation. It's not one man job, it's a collective responsibility.” Our prime purpose in life is to help others, lifting one person from poverty makes a meaningful differences and create a ripple of change in our communities.
