It’s officially dry season and we are pleased to share with you how light gauge steel (also know as cold formed steel) innovative roofing solution is what your building needs this dry season as against the traditional timber roof.

Light gauge steel roof outshines timber roof in the following ways:

Weather-resistant: Light gauge steel roofs are built to withstand high speed winds, heat, (and rain), unlike timber roofs that warp and crack.

Durability & strength: Light gauge steel roofs are fireproof, pest-resistant, and rot-resistant. Their ability to withstand these elements makes them last longer unlike timber roofs, which are prone to fire, termite damage and decay.

Energy-efficient: Light gauge steel roofs have the capacity to absorb and release heat slowly, which enables them to keep the interior of your building cool and comfortable.

Low maintenance: Unlike timber roofs that require constant maintenance, light gauge steel roofs do not need constant maintenance, which helps you save money in the long run.

These are the reasons why at Lloyd Philips Limited, we are proud to offer light gauge steel roofing solution- perfect for the Nigeria’s harsh weather conditions.

Helping you achieve your dream roof is our priority.
