At the southern entrance to Le Mans, the new Sarthe Habitat HQ stands out as a true city landmark — bold, contemporary, and exemplary in environmental performance.

Designed by Pharo and delivered with a performance-and-maintenance commitment, the 5,080 m² office building combines a 105 kWc PV installation with top certifications (HQE Exceptionnel, E3C2, BBCA Excellence, BEPOS, OSMOZ). The façade brings the concept to life with Rockpanel Chameleon (Green - Brown) and Rockpanel Colours RAL 9010, creating a dynamic surface that shifts with light.

Rockpanel is part of a unique biodiversity project in Taranto, Italy: a “Seahorse Hotel” built using ROCKWOOL stone wool placed within high-density Rockpanel boards to create a durable habitat where marine life can shelter and grow.

Developed together with local partners during SailGP, the initiative started in 2023 after an alarming 87% decline in the seahorse population in the Mar Piccolo lagoon — showing how materials expertise can help support nature’s recovery.

Na maar liefst 40 jaar bij ROCKWOOL Nederland, waarvan 28 jaar bij Rockpanel, breekt voor Zefnath Noija een nieuw hoofdstuk aan: zijn welverdiende pensioen. 🎉

Rugeley John Taylor School (1,442 places) combines Passivhaus design thinking with clean energy solutions - and a façade that pairs long-lasting performance with modern aesthetics. The project features Rockpanel Colours (RAL 7021, RAL 7004) and Rockpanel Metals (Elemental Gold, Electrum) for contrast, durability and non-combustible resilience.

Thanks to the remarkable facade boards of the Rockpanel Chameleon series a four-storey commercial building is now a real eye-catcher in Nienburg (Germany). The owner and the architectural firm Meyer + Borcherding have redesigned the facade to stand out on one of the most important access roads into the city.

The Active Residence building in Lublin, Poland features a facade of Rockpanel Woods Teak and RAL 9010 boards.
