For a batch of 25 table legs, I had to drill a hole in the top. To be sure all the holes were perpendicular, located exactly in the same spot and all at the same depth; I made this setup for the drill press. Worked like a charm!

Every now and then I dress my aluminium live center head. It can get dents or scratches for careless handling of HSS tools, and I like to have a sharp point on it for certain jobs. These soft metals turn just like very hard woods. Just take it easy, use the correct technique and don't hurry.

I've had this idea for a long time now, and finally got around to making it! An easy jig to chamfer the edges of squared beams (like table legs). Obviously made the jig after routing a commission for 25 table legs with the hand router... Would've been such a treat doing it this way.

A batch of 200 parts for a bigger commission. I finally found a M33x3,5 threader, allowing me to make custom mandrels that I can screw onto the headstock directly. I've been looking for that for a long time, and finally found it! Also, the little metal pointers you see are 's duplicating fingers. They really allow me to turn repetitive work fast and efficient while keeping the dimensions true!

A razor sharp gouge and the right technique can provide a finish like the sharpest hand planes can. These are the fronts of ornaments for fascia boards I showcased a while back in a multi-angle video.

The red line shows what I "see" while turning. I've been wanting to show this for a long while now. People often ask "how do you make them all the same?" when I'm turning a batch on commission. The diameters I set out, but the curves are a matter of envisioning it in your mind and turning what "feels right" compared to the specified design. So the red line shows you what I try to project in my mind's eye while turning, trying to hit that perfect curve the same every time.

Okay, the final clip from this job. The absolute Pinnacle of satisfaction of these wet logs. I couldn't trim the video down to anything under 3 hours, I think.. or is it me?
