The Building Authorities have eased building consent requirements. Here is a list of the criteria
* Timber pole shed
* Rural Zone
* Non habitable
* Not more than 110m2
* No higher than 4m
* Distance between poles not more than 6m
* No greater than high wind zone
* Designed with an Engineers PS1

We are pleased to announce that we now have a DIY Designer program that you can use to design your own shed that is right for you!

You can make it a traditional rectangular shape using a gable roof or a mono pitch roof. Add roller doors, windows, canopies or can even make an American barn type shed.

An American barn is the traditional design that many know and love. It is distinguished by the symmetrical bay structure with a raised centre bay and lean-tos on either side. As standard, the gable roof section has a pitch is 22 degrees while the lean-tos are pitched at 11 degrees.
