50mm x 6 mtr continuous ratchet, rated to 2500KG Lashing Capacity and manufactured to AS/NZS 4380

Ideal for lots of uses where normal ratchet hooks get in the way such as strapping stuff to pallets and machinery together in a container are just two of the uses customers will be using them for.

Available individually or by the Box Lot you can order these today for shipment tomorrow.

Brilliant solution to tying stuff down on pallets or in a container. Compatible with the Drum Clip system. Our industry leading Comfort Rubber Handle ratchet mechanism with a 6 metre long strap - note this has no hooks or latches - connects onto itself in a loop. More and better pictures coming but....

What happened to summer?

Taupo was cold and miserable to start with but fantastic once the fog cleared.

Great day for racing and promoting our products to the many racers who buy ratchets, lashing straps and the product that started it all, Recessed Tie Down fittings.

I started importing Recessed Tie Down fittings after buying some for my own trailer and being annoyed at how much they cost.

The rest as they say is history as our product and customer range has increased year on year continuing to deliver quality products at great value.

Our latest shipment is on it's way and includes yet another customer requested product, 50mm x 9 mtr continuous ratchets that the want to use to tie crane components down inside containers for export.

We'll post sme information when they arrive, in the meantime enjoy Race 3 of the weekends racing!

Trailer Back in action

Thanks to the guys at The Trailer Shop for resurrecting my trailer after it was hit by a neighbour several weeks ago.

Although they are called The Trailer Shop they have no connection to the Tie Down Shop other than being equally great people to deal with.

They not only repair trailers but they build new and custom trailers from their North Shore factory as well as selling parts and accessories.

My neighbours insurance company will get a big bill but it could have been bigger if it had been written off!

Trailer dramas and the benefit of quality Tie Downs!

Last week one of my neighbours slammed into my trailer at quite high speed while on his way to work. As I looked out the window I spotted the trailer pirouetting on it's way down the hill.

Fortunately it came to rest avoiding neighbours cars and our house but with extensive damage.

However because of the high quality of the ratchets holding the Van Diemen down inside, the Formula Ford was not damaged and will probably just need an alignment and chassis check before being let loose on the track again.

Never skimp on quality and always make sure your loads are safe, even if you are not travelling is the lesson here.
