Roofing and cladding are detailed as a rainscreen system using 28mm thick vertical shiplap bandsawn Western Red Cedar boards, coated to weather naturally to a soft silver-grey.

A simple timber box form that appears to float—clad in a rainscreen system that neatly conceals the services. Integrated cedar shutters hide full-height windows, which slide into a concealed cavity behind the rainscreeen. Cedar soffit and ceiling panelling enhance the sense of being immersed in nature.
