𝗜𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽?

I had a customer come into our store that had this issue with his sprinklers.

He didn't have enough water to run all 12 sprinklers at once.

Unfortunately if you don't calculate how much water you have and how much water your sprinklers need to operate, you might find yourself in this predicament also.

If you're having this problem, here's a couple of things you need to do.

1: Go to your water source and time how long it takes to fill a bucket and then do this simple calculation (Time to fill bucket X 60 ÷ Bucket Size

E.g. Time to fill a 9L bucket: 10 seconds. LPM: 9 x 60 ÷ 10 = 54 LPM)

2: Now that you know how much water you have to work with you can look at your sprinkler specs which will tell you how much water they need each and then divide the amount of water you have by the amount the sprinkler requires.

Not, not your head, your lawn.
If you think you’ve got the right sprinkler system and it’s still looking patchy in areas, there’s a million things that you could be doing wrong.
But it could be under-watering.
Story about a recent client.
A couple in their 60s in Remuera got in touch with us and they had this problem and we fixed it.

This is what you should look out for:
Length of watering time - you’d be surprised how many people think 10 mins is a long time
Sprinkler placement - ensuring total coverage
Age of your system and maintenance - a myriad of challenges here

Highly recommend getting your system checked before summer kicks in.

We have had a lot questions about MP Rotators over the years.

Having personally toured Hunter's facility in California and seen first hand how these are manufactured and tested, we know that these are quality high performing nozzles.

Several of our clients have been using these nozzles with success for many many years. The benefits outweigh the cost when compared to other nozzles in the residential setting.

We wanted to share this video to help explain why some nozzles don't spin. We DO NOT recommend "topping out" MP Rotator nozzles. That will void the warranty and cause damage to the nozzle.

Hunter has a 3 year manufacturer warranty on these nozzles. The production date is engraved on the shaft of the nozzle underneath the white filter.

Just drop it off or send it in to our branch (or any distributor) and they should be able swap it out, no dramas.
