Welcome to Hamptons ITM, a member of ITM, New Zealand's largest group of Independent Timber, Hardware merchants.

Hampton & Co Ltd was formed in 1956 and operated as an importer and was very successful in those days of the protected import licensing. Hamptons ITM as it is called today is privately owned by David and Wendy Fleming. Hamptons ITM operate a trade driven operation but also cater for the more serious DIY and trade builder from 151 Ferry Road, Christchurch. Under the current ownership the company has continued to have solid growth in the building & joinery industries with the key being the investment into a greater range of products and services which can be offered to its current market and customer base. Hamptons ITM customer base comprises of an excellent mix of both Builders, Joiners, Boat Builders and Furniture Manufactures along with a very strong mix of businesses who require Building based products. The key to any business success is the ability of that business to build strong standing relationships with its customer base and the supply channels supporting it. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, is organised, has great communication skills and can keep things running smoothly in a busy environment.

What we're looking for:
* Great communication and telephone skills
* Strong administration and computer skills
* Good organisation and attention to detail
* A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
* Ability to multitask and solve problems

Experience in building, construction or trade supply is an advantage, but not essential. Training will be provided for the right person!

⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am – 4.30pm | Saturday roster when applicable
