304 vs 316 Stainless Steel
The key difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel that makes them different is the addition of molybdenum, an alloy that drastically enhances corrosion resistance, especially for more saline or chloride-exposed environments. 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, but 304 does not.

Saddle. The bit at the top of the handrail bracket for the handrail to sit on. It can be curved or flat to suit your handrail. Alternative to a saddle is a blank top on your handrail bracket which you would weld to your handrail tube. First pic shows with a saddle, second pic shows without.
