Miranda recently caught up with Stuart Jones, Owner and Operator of Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth. Businesses play a vital role in the future of conservation. Aotearoa's "clean, green" image can only be realised by protecting our ngahere (forests), rivers, beaches, and the unique species that call them home.

Many businesses are stepping up to this challenge. Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth is a standout example, supporting the 800 Trust through Helping Hands volunteer days, donating materials, and becoming part of our wider whānau (family). Their commitment shows what's possible when industry and community work side by side.

If you own or work for a business that wants to be part of the mission toward Predator Free 2050, we'd love to kōrero (talk).

The 800 Trust is seeking partners who believe in leading through innovation, uplifting rangatahi (young people) into meaningful mahi, working alongside tangata whenua, and restoring the health of the whenua (land) and manu (birds).
