Hume Doors & Timber Group has been in business since 1953 and has over one thousand employees. The company is committed to producing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction in today's ever-changing global market. Hume Doors & Timber Group is a family-owned business that has grown significantly over the years. In September 2003, they acquired John Crean & Co Ltd's remanufacturing plant in New Zealand to form Hume Pine (NZ) Limited. This merger has allowed for a more extensive range of products to be available. Hume Pine has a team of over one hundred and twenty experts and continues to grow and expand. The company operates two manufacturing units and a distribution centre from its sites in Rotorua and a distribution hub in Christchurch. One of our external cladding systems, Pineclad TMT, is made from thermally modified timber. 🌲🏠

These timber profiles are available with two different finishes - Band Sawn Face for a textured appearance with improved coating performance and Dressed Face for a smooth, consistent finish.

Pineclad TMT comes with an initial Drydan WoodOil or Dulux Primer coating. Not sure what option is the best for you? See below for more information on both choices.

➡ You can maintain the rich brown colour of Pineclad TMT by applying Dryden WoodOil clear coating or any of the 36 available colours at https://www.dryden.co.nz/colour-gallery/.

➡ If you prefer, pre-coated Pineclad TMT comes with a Dulux primer already applied in the factory. You can paint it with darker colours with an LRV (Light Reflective Value) of less than 45%, including black!
